In 4 seconds flat you’ve chopped your onions, garlic and ginger (the trilogy that forms the base of most curries) and are ready to go on to the next step sautéing – all you do is set the timer and walk away. No stirring, no watching to make sure it doesn’t burn. In 4minutes it will beep you to take you to the next step - adding your sauce ingredients. Tomatoes get pureéd in 5 seconds flat and you have a chicken/ fish /vegetable curry ready no more than 15 minutes later. A truly unique experience.
But it gets better – there’s no chopping boards, knives, mixing bowls, mortar and pestle etc etc to wash which is wonderful in these days of water shortages.
